On their debut LP, Baltimore's Lands & Peoples weave pop hooks through experimental, immersive, and intricately layered soundscapes with a diverse arsenal of instruments, from a quietly plucked acoustic to growling swells of electric guitar and room-shaking crashes of synthesizer. The band’s defining element though is the soaring and dynamic pipes of Beauregard Cole and Caleb Moore—two Oxford, Mississippi transplants and best friends since the 11th grade whose head-turning harmonies cut through every track's heady tapestry of sounds and lend Pop Guilt its brightest and most indelible pop color.
Pop Guilt will be released on March 27th in an edition of 300 hand-numbered copies on 12” white vinyl. Each copy comes with an insert featuring original artwork by Baltimore's Stephen Matthew Booth and a free digital download of the record. All pre-orders will receive immediate access to a download of the album.
